About Us
From 1957 until the early 1970s, Kent Oil Service Stations were a major presence in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. The familiar yellow and black Kent Oil shield helped make life easy for thousands of customers in over 100 locations. By the mid-1970s, the company was moving away from service stations selling gasoline and motor oil to convenience stores selling thousands of products. This transition was completed in the early 1980s when the last Kent Oil Service Station was torn down and built into a new Kent Kwik Convenience Store. Today Kent Kwik is a major brand in the eyes of our customers, providing quality products and services to our West Texas customers and helping to make life easy. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated company that believes in investing in our people and the communities that we serve. Our friendly and knowledgeable Team Members at each of our locations have bought into the idea that people in our area value handshakes, smiling faces, and great customer service. Our greatest assets are the men and women who work at each of our locations, who turn our forward vision into a practical reality. Constantly moving the ball forward and raising the expectations of our industries, our company is growing rapidly. We are building more industry leading facilities, which provide more growth opportunities for our Team Members. We are proud to say that we promote within and offer excellent management training programs and certifications.
Locations
With over 100 locations across eight states, Kent Kwik locations have become known for offering a large variety of amenities to our guests to make their lives easier in every way possible. Most of our locations have a drive-thru, where guests can get anything from inside of the store 24 hours a day, except for lottery. Also, most of our stores have beer caves that we pride ourselves on always being 28 degrees. The stores also include our fresh food, branded Kwik Eats, which includes everything from breakfast burritos, sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, salads and our famous 97 cent sausage biscuits. All food is made fresh every day for our guests. We pride ourselves in having the friendliest Team Members that really work as a family.
Food
Food Made Fresh – that’s our motto. We believe in fresh ingredients prepared daily. All of our Kwik Eats food is prepared every day in our commissary by our experienced food service team members. This ensures that our guests are receiving quality food when they grab and go from our stores. Just because it’s convenient doesn’t mean it can’t be fresh. We offer a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack time.
Community
Kent Kwik, a part of The Kent Companies family, has been owned locally owned and operated since 1957. We believe in giving back to our community and the money we raise locally, stays local. The Permian Basin is where we call home, that means we are constantly working hard to provide for not only our team members and their families but also the families of our guests and our neighbors. A few of our yearly events include a spring charity golf tournament and a fall drive to raise money for local schools.
